Home of Games is a popular gaming content creator on YouTube. Nearing his 4 million subscriber mark, he approached YESQ to develop a logo design, branding guidelines, an intro, transition, outro, and a lower thirds panel to create consistency within the brand.
The logo design mixes the two elements, home and games. It uses the bottom half of a controller, while the upper half is a house. It also utilizes the center as a controller, to increase the legibility of the gaming concept.
We wanted to incorporate some of the gaming aspects to the motion design; using the spheres and plus symbols as 3D representations of the buttons on the controller. The grid used in the back references Fortnite, which often incorporates grids into their designs.
